Bio:

After high school I went across the campus to college. I majored in Speech with a minor in PE. I was very active in the drama department at Lipscomb. During the summer of my senior year I took a Bible class under Bro. Snow and meet Jim Olive, whom I later married. We lived in North Carolina for 11months, 17days and a few hours (can you tell I really enjoyed NC?).  Before we married I taught at DLHS for a year. I had hope to work under Mr. Daniels but that did not happen.

After NC Jim and I moved back to Nashville for him to further his education and I taught school at East High. I had Oprah Winfrey for a student (my claim to fame). As Jim was finishing up his schooling we were looking for a job and had been to Bowling Green to try out. Joe Sanders from Lipscomb found out we were looking a job and invited us to a teacher's dinner at Jackson Park (which was the church I grew up in). They offered him a job that night and we have been there ever since.

God blessed us with a wonderful chosen child name Beth Ann. She has brought us a great deal of pleasure and some worry. Beth Ann is now married to Jason Stockton, who is now serving in Iraq. Beth Ann and Jason have given us a grandson named Hunter, who is the love of his "B's" life (as he calls me). They are expecting another baby in Feb. 2006. Jason will be back by that time.

I now teach 4th grade at Tom Joy. I enjoy it. I love being a part of Jackson Park. One of the things I enjoy most is cooking for our church camp - been doing it for 34 years. All of my sisters still live in the Nashville area and every Oct. for the past 16 years we spend a week in Florida without children or husbands. I am looking forward to the reunion even it I am one of the last to get everything turned in. I want to thank Larry for the website - I have enjoyed it. Also would like to thank Jane for getting the class together.

My love and best to you all,
